I am smiling. I am at ease, relaxed. My breathing is balanced, full and relaxed. My movements are fluid, there is no tension in my body. I walk with an easy stride, my posture is balanced. I move my hands a lot, movements flow with my words. If I am sitting I sit with my legs crossed. My face is expressive, I look animated, I look friendly. My physiology is approachable, I am open with my emotions. I am attentive. My voice is very clear, my articulation is clear, I speak faster as I become animated, easy on the ear. You hear my emotions in my voice.

I have a sense of feeling okay, a sense of safety, a sense of peace within my body, there is a space which is sacred and calm. In my stomach I feel the warm colour orange, "God in my middle", a warm feeling, a sensation, starts in the middle of my stomach and diffuses throughout my middle, chest, throat and mouth. I sense I am not on my own. I have the sensation of a presence, that there is more than me even though I may be physically on my own. Sometimes I am not sure whether I am able to distinguish between myself and the presence. On one level it is distinct on another level it feels indistinct it feels like it's me. I let go of the outcome. I feel softness within my chest area, I feel okay, its just an exceptional stillness hard to describe, it sits at the centre of my body. I feel a sense of peace and stillness.

I think of my ideal Sunday morning, its represents peace, stillness. I hear quietness. I feel very connected. If at home, I sit in the garden and just listen to trees rustling or the wind blowing, or I think of a vast ocean and my sitting by the vastness in comparison. I feel the wind on my face, I breathe deeply from my stomach. I talk and move from this place. Sometimes I can feel a lump in my throat, my meditation teacher showed me how to breathe in to it so it moves up through my body and releases. I tell myself what will be will be. I call the name of "Spirit". My breathing changes, my voice internally sounds lower and deeper. I slow down my voice to reassure myself. I tell myself I'm okay. I think of spiritiual words, I ask for help. I breathe deeply.

If I am not on my own then I am safe. If I am being myself it will be okay. If I am being myself I am being open. It's better to be myself than be false. Me being me is best, that works for me. |

Keeping it real. For as long as I am here on the planet I am living my life to the best of my awareness. I will do what is necessary to live my life in the way I was created to be.

I am guided. I am being who I am created to be. If I am being myself that is good and true. If I am being who I am truly created to be, if I am true to myself, no matter what happens it will be okay.

Other things which are important to me: 1) valuing difference 2) making a difference (having a positive impact making a difference by my intervention) 3) independence (being able to stand on my own 2 feet) 4) freedom (freedom to move around, freedom to choose) 5) learning (not just skills but life experience and enrichment) 6) sense of community (sense of my belonging and creating a sense of belonging for others) 7) transition (meaningful change to become my true self) 8) variety (having stimulating choices, variety of environment, variety of experiences) 9) being well resourced in terms of time, money and people (this means I am to deliver with effortlessness, I feel more relaxed and alert. Well resourced in people means being well supported - it is healthy to be able to talk through "flaky thoughts") 10) honest engagement (relationship building, trust, creating a safe environment, quality interaction). |
